Discussing plastic surgery for Black women

Share:

Dr. Kelly Bolden of the Veterans Administration Arlington Chapter of the Links discusses plastic surgery for Black women with Dr. K.

Tamara G of 101.5 lite, Miami, hosted the conversation, which was recorded on Mothers Day.  Dr Bolden began the discussion talking about breast reconstruction, but noted that Black women were often missing as patients.  This led her to deliberately choose a location where she could better serve Black women and other underserved communities.  Her work includes cosmetic surgery, working with patients post-bariatric surgery, and trans patients.
