In June 2022, LACE UP supported the 2022 AAU Region 3 Track and Field event. MyUzima received support from Starbucks, Wegmans, NDA-HEALTH NOW, the Rodham Institute, and the local dentists' community. Your support can help us keep our young athletes healthy and smiling!
$10 can buy three dental kits.

In July 2021, LACE UP teamed up with I5 Elite to give their youth track club a wonderful send off to the Junior Olympics in Jacksonville, Florida. Packed with Adidas gear, all they needed was a dental kit and a Starbucks gift card from LACE UP!
We encouraged them to show their grit on the field and not to forget to smile!

LACE UP Launched its first Healthy Teeth and Gums Initiative with Beacon House on May 15, 2021. LACE UP provides athletes the opportunity to not only focus on their sport but on their dental health, too!
LACE UP is positive, present for the community, and purposeful for professionals.

On Saturday 26 June 2021, LACE UP and MyUzima held their second event, distributing 500 toothbrushes to children and adults at the AAU Track & Field Championship at the PG County Sports Complex. This event gave DMV track and field youth athletes a chance to participate in one of the first major track meets since the pandemic began. The LACE UP participation would not have been possible without the work and dedication of I5ELITE AAU and Union Church.
